Scotland Seeks Funding For Blockchain Based Exchange

Distributed ledger technology is going to change how  markets will function, this is the next big thing. There will still be a need for middlemen, in both the primary and secondary markets for equities, futures and commodities trading or credit facilities. But essentially shareholders can perform a private security transaction without having to use a broker, exchange or any of those middlemen that currently facilitate clearance functions. What you your thoughts?
